Pre-Procedure Instructions and Information

DO NOT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING after midnight the night before your procedure. This includes include any gum, candy, Tic-Tacs or other mints.

NO SMOKING after midnight the night before your procedure.

NO LIQUIDS
You must arrive with a completely empty stomach. If you have anything to eat or drink, the anesthesiologist may not deem it safe to undergo anesthesia and your appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled.

DRIVING
If you are having a procedure which requires the use of anesthesia, you should NOT drive. Please have someone drive you or make other transportation arrangements. If you plan to drive, the anesthesiologist may not deem it safe to undergo anesthesia and your appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled.

IDENTIFICATION
Make sure when you arrive, you have valid photo I.D as well as your insurance card, cash, credit or debit.

If you choose to bring an escort, be sure that they also have valid I.D or they will not be able to gain access to the building.

DURATION
Expect to be here roughly 3-4 hours for the total duration of your visit.

NO CHILDREN
Do not bring any children or the appointment will be cancelled and re-scheduled.
